Real-time raster scan unit with improved picture quality

ABSTRACT

The raster-scan unit described below was planned with the intention of fulfilling all important requirements of graphical output units. The emphasis lies on the discription of the algorithms and the hardware necessary for generating vectors and circles, including intensity variation. This device is characterized by the real-time conversion of all picture elements.
