ABSTRACT

At Northumbria University we have set up what we believe is the only dedicated Master of Arts degree in Computer Game Studies. People who have played games for a long time, or have worked in the industry might see an opportunity here to reflect on their activities and to use humanities tools (literary analysis; cultural theory etc.) to explore its significance in their lives and in society as a whole.
