ABSTRACT

Joyce is a programming language for distributed systems. This paper describes an implementation of Joyce, which runs on an Intel iPSC hypercube, and discusses the performance of the implementation based on experiments. The first version of iPSC hypercube is finally concluded to be an inadequate distributed computer for execution of Joyce programs.
