What is a DOI?

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to present the experiences of the authors, their students and colleagues with computerized literature searches and to draw some conclusions and recommendations for the user. It is written from the point of view of the user and does not cover the design and operation of the computer program, the data bases or other features important to the system designer and information specialist.
