ABSTRACT

The Computer Science program at the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University, which has approximately four-hundred undergraduate majors, is predominately software oriented. A course in communication is required and taken at the sophomore level. The concepts covered include information gathering, user-friendly programming, system and program documentation, written and verbal presentations. This course also prepares the students for the Management Engineering Master's degree offered at C. W. Post.
