ABSTRACT

In this paper we will discuss a system for data capture of combat casualty medical information that is being developed at the Naval Health Research Center for use by the U.S. Marine Corps in forward echelon hospitals. The system captures data through the use of a graphics tablet attach to a “ruggedized” personal computer. Both the system design and a prototype implementation are discussed.
