What is a DOI?

ABSTRACT

This paper describes a procedure for producing scales for use in automatic plotting of data. The scale and associated origin of the plot produced by this procedure are “round numbers.” The procedure itself is independent of the range of the data and so no a priori bounds on the data are needed.
