What is a DOI?

ABSTRACT

Previously, much research effort has been aimed at developing automatic design methods for the higher levels of system design. This work has centered around developing methods of representation, constraint specification, and automatic design. Specifically, methods of representing systems at the behavioral and functional block levels were developed and implemented. Around these representations, automatic design methods have been developed. This paper describes the previous research efforts, highlights their results, and makes observations on the comparison of these design methods.
