ABSTRACT

College and university computing support providers are discovering these days what Walt Kelly's Pogo character said many years ago: "We have met the enemy and he is US." We who work in support of computing activities in higher education may have been overly successful in helping to integrate the use of computer technology into all facets of academic life as we must now work with the situations that are happening as a result of our communities embracing this technology.
