Unlike many columnists and filmmakers, I refuse to play the crass "product placement" game. I'm more than willing to pay cash for the divine Laphroaig, reputedly the Gaelic for "beautiful hollow by the broad bay." Don't let the spelling confuse you; just ask for "La-froyg."
