ABSTRACT

The 4th International ERCIM Workshop on Software Evolution and Evolvability (Evol '08) took place on 15-16 September 2008 in L'Aquila, co-located with the 23rd IEEE/ACM Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE). The workshop focused on research and practice related to the long-term evolution of software products. For the first time two separate events, devoted to practical and more abstract aspects of this area, combined into a single workshop which in its first iteration demonstrated the synergy hoped for from this combination.
