ABSTRACT

Performance 2007, the 26-th International Symposium on Computer Performance, Modeling, Measurements, and Evaluation was held in Cologne, Germany, on October 2--5, 2007. Like in the past, in addition to the main technical program, a poster session was organized to present and discuss ongoing or recent research work in an informal setting.

A total of 11 posters were selected for presentation during the conference by the Performance 2007 Technical Program Committee. This special issue of Performance Evaluation Review consists of the extended abstracts of these posters, which cover a wide range of topics in the area of performance evaluation, analytical modeling and simulation of computer systems and communication networks.
