ABSTRACT

Athabasca University's (AU) has implemented a comprehensive mobile library (M-library) website. The M-library system can auto-detect users' devices and bring them to the appropriately formatted version (mobile or desktop) of the site. It provides opportunities to increase the boundaries of anytime and anywhere learning for students. This paper presents the Mlibrary system design, implementation, and ongoing research on usage of the AU M-library, some of the challenges in design and deploying the M-library are discussed.
