ABSTRACT

Mitsopoulos and Edwards ICAD 1998 paper deals with the design of auditory widgets as exemplars of applying sound psychological theories of auditory perception and attention in the field of auditory interface design. The research, briefly herein described, is presented in detail in Mitsopoulos [2000]. Future work at all three levels of the methodology is foreseen, as well as in the integration of input and output modalities.
