ABSTRACT

This poster describes a work in progress regarding the use of history in computing courses. Its focus revolves around the Computing History Resources and Adaptation (CHRAD) project, partially funded by the National Science Foundation. Elements of the presentation include how history can make computing courses interesting and how it can stimulate greater appreciation between technological and social issues.
