 ABSTRACT
A symposium will be held at The Royal Society, London from July 6-8, 1987 in memory of Professor E. M. L. Beale. By covering the range of his professional interests, the symposium will provide useful links between research and applications in Mathematical Programming, Operational Research and Statistics.
