Simulated APL session manager

ABSTRACT

Many individuals around us will definitely benefit if they are given chances to use and learn APL without worrying about pre-decision financial or procedural obligations whatsoever. This paper proposes such a tool which can be distributed free without violating any commercial rules or business ethics.This tool is an application package created using "Workstation APL2 for Multi-platforms Version 2"; an IBM product announced in May, 2002. According to the IBM license document, free distribution of packaged applications with its run-time facilities is permitted without IBM approval.In its development, I emphasized the aspects of APL2 on the following points:1. Practicality- more business oriented2. Conformity-with the common practice3. Portability-across computing environments4. Support of Japanese Language
