ABSTRACT
Process control is one of the priviledged topics of Computer Science applications. The fast evolution of high technologies permits to deal progressively with more complex domains. On the other hand, control theory seems to be inadequate to meet the challenge posed by a dramatic increase in systems complexity. In this paper, we will first split the complexity in a composite notion, and propose a solution to face complexity in process control applications: a Symbolic-dedicated processor.
