ABSTRACT

The ESUDL is a specially designed Expert System for monitoring a non-U.S. Army Unclassified Data Link (UDL) communication system. ESUDL consists of four components: data base, rule base, computer program, and a backward chaining inference engine. This system is implemented to overcome the limitations of the current manual approach. The implementation of the ESUDL system will result in a more reliable and much faster processing and monitoring of the UDL communication system.
