ABSTRACT

The effectiveness of using a computer supported collaborative learning tool in a college-level Java Programming class is investigated in this paper. As an initial attempt, eight collaborative learning laboratory sessions were created. This paper will discuss students' responses to these sessions and report the difficulties encountered in this experiment, along with suggestions for improvement.
