ABSTRACT
We will give an overview of the COLLADA 1.4 standard physics format [1][2][3] and its use in the 3D physics content pipeline. We describe design decisions, implementation, compatibility and interoperability aspects of adopters of this industry standard, as well as its relationship with other standards such as X3D, (ISO 19775) from the Web 3D Consortium.
