ABSTRACT
Bill Kinder is the Director of Editorial and Postproduction at the Pixar Animation Studios. He is also the DVD Producer for Pixar movies, including the Academy award-winning films "The Incredibles (2004)" and "Finding Nemo (2003)," which earned the honor of being the fastest selling DVD and video of all time. Prior to joining Pixar in 1996, Bill was the Director of Facilities at American Zoetrope in San Francisco. There he coordinated sound and picture post production on numerous feature films (including "Jack," "Mi Familia," and "Theremin: An Electronic Odyssey"), introduced innovations in Francis Coppola's Electronic Storyboard Department, and oversaw the film-to-tape transfers of dailies. He has also directed an Emmy-nominated documentary, produced television news, and edited commercials. Bill studied film, sound, and photography at Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design, and the University of East Anglia. INDEX TERMS
